Do you have questions about Transitional Kindergarten?

 An information session will be held this Thursday, May 17^th at 6:00 p.m. at Joe Nightingale School.

 Transitional Kindergarten is a new program specially designed for children who may need additional time before beginning Kindergarten.  It is open to children that will turn 5 on or before December 2, 2012.  Priority for enrollment is given to children born between September 1 and December 2, 2007, however if your child was born before that date and you feel they would benefit from a developmental program with an extra year of instruction before beginning Kindergarten we invite you to consider Transitional Kindergarten.

 Registration is happening NOW for Transitional and Traditional Kindergarten programs for the 2012-2013 year.  Please contact your school office to register as soon as possible to ensure your child is enrolled in a timely manner.

Kindergarten Registration is Underway   

If you have a child who will be 5 years old BEFORE November 1, 2012, and live in the Joe Nightingale boundary area,   it's almost time to register for the 2012-2013 school year.  Please note that the date has changed to NOVEMBER 1. 

You will need the following for registration:

• Birth Certificate or Passport
• Immunization Records
• TWO utility bills in YOUR name with YOUR address (proof of residency) 

(If utility bills are in someone else's name, you may need a residency affidavit.  Ask your Office Manager for details.)

Enrollment hours at Nightingale are 8:30 - 3:00.
